Reggae Roast are one of the UKs leading Reggae / Dancehall & Jungle Soundsystem crews. Combining the label, events & soundsystem they have forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the UK dub scene.

 

in Summer 2023 Reggae Roast released their second studio album 'More Fire', a melting pot of the Reggae scene from Jamaica to the UK. They have collaborated with world famous artists including Horace Andy, Johnny Clarke, General Levy, Gappy Ranks, Soom T, Horseman, Tippa Irie, Mr Williamz & many more.

 

This year Reggae Roast have toured with some of the biggest names in Reggae including UB40 & Alborosie, playing at some of the biggest venues in the country including O2 Arena (London), Utilta Arena (Birmingham) and Three Arena (Cardiff) as well as making many festival and club appearances across the country.

 

In 2020 Reggae Roast signed to world famous Trojan Records, to release their debut album 'Turn Up The Heat’, receiving critical acclaim & reaching #1 in The iTunes Reggae Chart. 

 

Reggae Roast have seen strong radio support for their music, receiving 1000’s of radio plays worldwide. In 2023 they featured as guest interviewees on Rodigan's BBC 1 Xtra show and received playlisting on BBC 6 Music. They've done several guest mixes for the likes of BBC 6 Music, BBC1 Xtra, Capital Xtra and Worldwide FM.

 

The Reggae Roast events are considered to be one of London’s premiere Reggae Soundsystem Events. Over the years Reggae Roast have hosted world renowned artists including; The Wailers, Lee Scratch Perry, Sly and Robbie, Collie Budz, Mad Professor, David Rodigan, Suggs (Madness), Channel One, Trojan Soundsystem, Gappy Ranks, Finley Quaye, Aba Shanti I, Mungo’s Hi Fi and many many more.

 

The Reggae Roast events are powered by their formidable, custom build soundsystem. The 52KW system AKA "The beast" brings Soundsystem design into the 21st century both aesthetically and sonically. The 3m long 'Terra Horns, mean it can recreate frequencies as low as 20htz lower than any other system on the market.

 

In 2019 Reggae Roast teamed up with Raver Tots to create Reggae Tots, Family events where kids & parents can get on the dance floor & party together. With world class DJs & amazing production these inclusive events are fun for all ages and are encouraging the next generation of Reggae lovers.

 

Festival favourites, Reggae Roast have smashed up DJ sets & hosted stages at some of the worlds biggest festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Outlook Festival, Boomtown & countless more!

 

Reggae Roast run their own imprint ‘Reggae Roast Records’. On their label they’ve built a formidable catalogue of quality releases, collaborating with world famous & grass roots artists along the way, providing a much needed platform for artists within the UK scene.
